What is the crazy Entogo thing?
It’s a revolution, and you’re part of it. Well, maybe not a revolution but Entogo will make your web surfing and searching a whole lot faster. With Entogo you use keywords to navigate and search the Internet.
What is a Keyword?
An Entogo keyword maps to a website or URL for you technical types. When you type in the keyword you are redirected to the destination website. Keywords can be real words, abbreviations, or just made up words.
What is a Keyword Search?
An Entogo keyword search allows you to bypass website home pages and get to the search results quickly. For example, say you want to search Amazon.com for “Harry Potter.” Type “amazon Harry Potter” in the Entogo Go Box below. This will take you to the Amazon search results for "Harry Potter". You save time by searching lots of different sites right from one place -- Entogo.

Can I create my own Keywords?
Absolutely! This is the power of Entogo. Once you have created an Entogo account and you're logged in, you can create your own custom Keywords or you can redefine Global Keywords so they behave the way you want. With Entogo, it’s all about you.
How do Global Keywords, My Keywords and Community Keywords work?
Global Keywords have been defined by Entogo and available to everyone. If you don’t have an account, then you can only use Global Keywords. Once you have an account you can start adding and using your own keywords. To use your own keywords, you must be logged into Entogo. Community Keywords are keywords created by other users. You can browse them to get ideas for custom keywords that you can create and add to your account.
How does Entogo determine which keyword is used? Is there some precedence?
- If you are logged in, then Entogo will first try to use keywords defined in your account.
- If you have not defined any keywords that match the entry, then Entogo will try to use a Global Keyword.
- If there are no Global Keywords that match, then Entogo assumes you want to do a web search and sends your entry to Google.
Why would I use Entogo instead of Google or another search engine?
We like search engines too and Entogo is not meant to replace them. Entogo aims to speed up web surfing and searching by giving you more control. With Entogo you can search any web site directly from your browser’s search bar. Entogo speeds up your surfing by eliminating unnecessary steps in your day-to-day browsing.
What if I want to do Google search? Does Entogo make that slower?
Entogo will automatically send any entry that does not include a keyword to Google. There is nothing extra to do. Simply enter your search term into Entogo and hit enter. You will see your Google search results in an instant. Now you have more control over your surfing and still have instant access to Google.
